He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Scott Thompson; and his siblings, Alfred Doktor, Henry Doktor, William Doktor, Richard Doktor, Norman Doktor, Florence Wyder, Rita Gostomski and Alice Berardi.

He is survived by: his wife Catherine Doktor (Lang); his children, Mark Doktor (Cathy) of Buffalo, Michael Doktor (Jessica) of Buffalo, Apryle Carney (David) of Shoemakersville, PA, Robin Thompson of Godfreys Pond and Bergen; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Lang of East Pembroke and Norma Lang of Byron. He is also survived by six grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
