As John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John leaves behind.
He is survived by: his pet Annie; his sister Alexis Salkin (Harold); his niece Nicole Gryczan; his nephew Daniel Salkin; and his great-nieces, Eva and Olivia Gryczan.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Michael J Grant Funeral Homes (3640 NY-112, Coram, NY 11727). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A procession was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at the Cedar Grove Cemetery (80 Jennings Ave, Patchogue, NY 11772). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at the same location.
