She was predeceased by: her husband Carmen "Carl" Costa, Sr.; her son Carmen C. Costa, Jr.; and her siblings, Lena Toscano, Lucy Chase and Joseph Fiorito.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Lou Thompson, Sr. (Glenn) and Joseph Costa (Barbara); her daughter-in-law Donna Costa; her grandchildren, Julie Costa, Jennifer Niezabytowski (Brian), Jodie Costa, Tim Mack, Trevor Costa and Justin Costa; and her great grandchild Connor Niezabytowski. She is also survived by six step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
