He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lidia; his children, Clare Bryan (John), Belinda Walters (John) and John O. Grimaldi (Doreen); his grandchildren, Jimmy, Melissa, John (Simone), Sara (Marc), Michael (Kristin) and Matthew; and his great grandchildren, Austin, Nevaeh, Sedona, Samuel, Josie and Liliana.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the D'Andrea Bros Funeral Home (99 Oak St, Copiague, NY 11726). An entombment was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at the St. Charles Cemetery (2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donation be made in John's name to Good Shepherd Hospice, 200 Belle Terre Rd, Port Jefferson, NY 11777.
