It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Holzmacher (Copiague, New York), born in Farmingdale, New York, who passed away on December 25, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband George Holzmacher; her parents, Archibald Voorhes and Mildred Voorhes; and her siblings, Ida Maul, Millia Mosley, Shirley Cook and Dale Voorhes.
She is survived by: her children, Jo-Ellen Bassett (Randy) of Laconia, NH, April Harris (Greg) of Auburn, AL, George Holzmacher (Jeanie) of Port St, Lee Holzmacher (Debbie) of Forestdale, MA, Marcy Rausch (Lou) of Port St, Jed Holzmacher (Rosi) of West Lawn, PA, Trudy Mitchell (Robert) of Stuart, FL and Matt Holzmacher (Mandy) of Chattanooga, TN. She is also survived by five grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
