He is survived by: his children, Candace Marshall (Robert) of Florida, Gregory LaPlatney (Theresa) of Florida and Maurice LaPlatney (Deana) of Florida; his stepchildren, Jane, Tina, Amy and Scott; and his siblings, Jack LaPlatney (Marshia) of Harrisville, Eleanor Queary, Robert LaPlatney (Carolynn) and Linda Blanchard (Jack) of Natural Bridge.
