He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Brady and Irene Koster Brady; his daughter Jan Marie; and his siblings, Don, Bob, Richard, Verna Smith and Ruth Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth McLane; his children, Cynthia Cooper (Kevin) of Copenhagen, Sandra Baxter (Lance) of Copenhagen, Dean of Copenhagen, Patricia Brady (Anthony Fiorentino), Donald (Lynne Sitek Zona), Dale of Lyndon, WA, Tim (Becky) and Dennis; his grandchildren, Ben Cooper (Heather) of Buffalo, Roxanne Marmion (Shane) of Buffalo, Colby Cooper of Tampa, FL, Ryan Brady, Jeffrey Brady of Aurora, CO, Allison Brady (Brandon Bush), Kyle, Abigail Brady of Fuquay-Varina, NC and Brett Brady (Lowville); his great grandchildren, Emma Cooper, Addison, Quinn Marmion and Riley Brady; and his siblings, Patrick Brady (Donna) and Marie Koch (Neil). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A private funeral with immediate family will be held at St. Mary's Church in Copenhagen with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date due to the COVID 19 requirements.
Donations in Bernard's memory may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Copenhagen or Hospice of Lewis County.
