He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Myron Proper and Olia Proper (Pectal); his spouse Marjorie E. Proper (Decker); his children, Paul J. Proper Jr (Theresa), Rosemarie McEnroe (Jerome) and David Proper (Patricia); his grandchildren, Justin, Jeremy, Klynt, Nicholas, Dylan, Megan, Bryan and Evan; his great grandchildren, Kailey, Aubrey, Tristan, Abby, Keegan, Brady, Noah, Turner and Lydia; and his siblings, Ruth Bailey and Otis Proper.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are requested to the West Copake Reformed Church, 2688 County Route 7, Copake, New York.
