He is survived by: his mother Eleanor Vail (Winans); his wife Robin Scheller; his son Kenny Van Keuren (Ariel O'Neill); his grandsons, Kollin and Hunter Van Keuren; his siblings, Patricia Giordano and Timothy Scheller; his nephews, Matthew Giordano, Tim Scheller (TJ) and Frank Wathley, Jr.; his brother-in-law Frank Wathley; and his pets, Misty and Indy.
In lieu of flowers donations in Michael's memory are requested to the American Diabetes Association.
