He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Smith and Pauline Smith (Lent); and his wife Donna L. Smith. He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Jaigua of Rhinebeck, NY, Kelly Matthews of Milan, NY, Dina Connolly of Stanfordville, NY and Gordon L. Smith Jr. of Red Hook, NY; and his sisters, Shirley Eissert and Marjorie Sisson. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and eight great grandson.
