Mae touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the sacred silence of farewell, Mae is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Mae's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Amelia Frances (Carpenter) and Herman Phillip Adler; her sister Barbara Adler (Boots); her husband Gary Menchen of Copake; her children, Denise Menchen Ballou (Scott) and Gregory Menchen of Copake; and her grandsons, Ripley Ballou and Russell Ballou.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Peck and Peck Funeral Homes (8063 NY-22, Copake, NY 12517). A Mass was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Church (117 Hudson Ave, Chatham, NY 12037).
