He is survived by: his wife Melinda Gardiner (Ceva); his children, David Gardiner (Brittany), Anna Gardiner Siepmann (Michael), Christian Gardiner (Kari) and Benjamin Gardiner (Jennifer); his sister Louise Dietz (James); and also Steven Gardiner (Nancy). He is also survived by his nine grandchildren.
