Whalen of Cooperstown, New York, born in Woodbridge, New Jersey, who passed away on December 30, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Syckle and Ruth Van Syckle; her close friend Dr. Edward F. Whalen; and her brother Dr. Guy Van Syckle. She is survived by: her children, Mary Sue Arcuri and Mark L. Whalen. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
