He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvan Harrington and Ruth Harrington (Griesmyer); and his brother Norm. He is survived by: his wife Roberta; his niece Dina Gage; and his brother Dale. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the United Methodist Church or North Shore Ambulance.
