She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Maither and Hazel Maither (McCracken); her stepmother Hazel Welburn; and her granddaughter Mackenzie Nicole. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Lynn Cook; her sons, John Cook of Plattsburgh and Kevin Cook of Otisfield, ME; her grandchildren, Reece and Madeline; and her brother Kenneth Rust Maither of Prescott, Ontario. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donations in Melba's memory may be made to the Order of the Eastern Star, the Constable Adult Center and the Constable United Methodist Church.
