It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John G. McCarthy of Conklin, New York, who passed away on August 18, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John McCarthy and Rita McCarthy; and his siblings, Rita Farrow, Susan McCarthy, Thomas McCarthy and Nicholas McCarthy.
He is survived by: his wife Lori; his children, Scott Marean (Ana Koulikas Anderson), Chris McCarthy, Catherine Kilgallon (Vince) and Robyn Faircloth (Joey); his grandchildren, Alex Kilgallon (Caitlin), Scott Marean Jr., Sean Marean (Rosa), Meghann Kilgallon and Anastasia Kilgallon; his great grandchild Mariella Nickerson; his siblings, Maureen McCarthy, Betty Curley (Tom) and Robert McCarthy; and his brother-in-law George Farrow. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Ss John and Andrew (1263 Vestal Ave, Binghamton, NY 13903). A Mass was held on Friday, August 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 23rd 2024 at the Calvary Cemetery (501 Fairview St, Johnson City, NY 13790).
