She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Plymale and Margaret Plymale; and her siblings, Beverly Plymale-Taft and Kenneth Plymale. She is survived by: her husband Marvin; her sons, Mark Smith (Cathy) and Dan Smith (Michele); her grandchildren, Cody Smith, Rachel Stanton (Corey) and Noah Smith; her sisters, Marlene Maus (Jim) and Cindy Watkins (David); and her friend Donna Manning. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
