She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest Schmidt; and her parents, Karl Nilsson and Alberta Nilsson. She is survived by: her children, Susan Mahoney (Daniel), Edward Schmidt (Beth) and William Schmidt; and her granddaughters, Julia, Emily, Amanda, Katie and Maggie.
A wake was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Higgins Funeral Home (113 Lake Rd, Congers, NY 10920). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Gethsemane Cemetery.
