With solemn reverence, we commemorate William VanOoyen of Conesus, New York, born in Clifton, New Jersey, whose life came to an end on April 17, 2024 at the age of 98, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter VanOoyen and Tuentje VanOoyen (Muilwyk); his wife Ann Ruth VanOoyen (Havert); his son Daniel VanOoyen; his brother Hank; and his sister-in-law Bernice VanOoyen.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Ophoff (Arthur "AC") of Michigan and Eric VanOoyen (Nancy) of East Palmyra. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
