It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vincent Matthew Grassi of Commack, New York, who passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Grassi and Vera Grassi; his wife Marie; and his grandson John. He is survived by: his children, Vincent Joseph (Karen), Craig (Renda) and Angela; his grandchildren, Joseph, Emily, Matthew, Michael, Elena and Jacquelyn; and his siblings, Ronald and Celia. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Branch Funeral Home of Commack (2115 Jericho Turnpike, Commack, NY 11725). A Mass will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist R. C. Church (546 St Johns Pl, Riverhead, NY 11901). A burial will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Calverton National Cemetery (210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933).
