He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Bird and Lillian C. Bird; and his sister Dorothy Wagner. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine G. Bird (Bosch); his daughters, Alison Muldoon (Charles) and Laura Bird (Michael Bennett); his grandchildren, Kevin, Brendan, Erin Muldoon, Julian and Catherine Bennett; and his sister Virginia Eskelsen.
