She is survived by: her husband John Sym (Jack); her children, Claire Gisselbeck (Brian) of Stevensville, MD, Kenneth Sym (Celene) of Youngsville, NC and Kevin Sym (Marie) of Kent, WA; her brother Lee Thompson; her grandchildren, Alexander Gisselbeck (Sasha), Ariane Sym Shepherd (Alex), Danielle Gisselbeck, Austin Sym and Kourtnei Sym; her stepsons, Jack Mitchell (Danielle) of Chester Springs, PA and Kevin Mitchell (Marilyn) of Clifton, NJ; and her granddaughters, Halle Mitchell and Megan Mitchell.
