It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John M. Tonra of Commack, New York, born in Mineola, New York, who passed away at the age of 54, on September 23, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Tonra and Patricia Tonra (O'Brien). He is survived by: his wife Buntajit Tonra of Edison, NJ; and his children, Sean Tonra, Shannon of Edison and Colleen Tonra of Edison. He is also survived by his siblings, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Cremation will be private. To maintain the health of their loved ones, the Tonra family asks that individuals in attendance wear a mask indoors at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in John's memory to the Tom Deierlein Foundation.
