He was predeceased by: his parent James Makar; and his wife Gloria Makar. He is survived by: his parent Florence Makar; his sons, Michael Makar and Jason Makar; his siblings, Susan Christine, Lenora Gordon and Peter Makar; and his significant other Diane Atherton Jim.
