She was predeceased by: her cousin Larry Gumaer; her brother-in-law Donald W. Barrett; and her parents, Howard C. Shampine and Evelyn Cowles Shampine. She is survived by: her sister Shirley Barrett; her niece Karen Barrett; and her former husband Edward Bump.
