He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Michael Brewer; his brother-in-law Vernon "Brownie" Brown; and his father Claude E. Irish. He is survived by: his children, David Irish Jr. of Moosup, CT, Julie Winsor of Danielson, CT and Melanie Brewer of Brooklyn, CT; his grandchildren, Justin, Michael Jr. and Erin Brewer; and his siblings, Duane (Carol Irish), Eileen (Henry "Pete" Basham) and Jane Brown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
