Betty Jean Butterfield Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Butterfield of Colton, New York, born in Potsdam, New York, who passed away on April 6, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brothers, Robert, Ronald, James and Junior Curry; her former husband Ernie Butterfield; and her parents, Jay Curry and Bernice Spears.

She is survived by: her sons, William Smith (Karla) of Colton and David Smith (Teresa); her brothers, Hermon and Martin Smith (Brenda) of Sanford, Maine; her daughter Theresa Skiff (Terry Tillotson) of Colton; and her brother Donald Curry (Linda) of Syracuse. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
