With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bernice I. Thomas (Colton, New York), born in South Colton, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 14, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Gorman and C. Millie Gorman; her husbands, Wendell Gotham and Allen Thomas; her sons, Martin Thomas and Timothy Thomas; and her siblings, Helen Deugaw, Margaret Todd, Grace Casselman, Richard, Joseph, John, Francis, Edward and Harold.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Gotham (Sharon), Karen Murray (Roger), Daniel Gotham (Kathy) and Becky Thomas (Amy O'Brian); her grandchildren, Sherry, Megan, Corey, Amanda, Kyle, Kerry, Devin, Brenden, Hilary, Lindsay and Troy; and her sisters, Theresa Burcume and Kathleen Hepburn. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Buck Funeral Home (62 Riverside Dr, Colton, NY 13625). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (4897 NY-56, Colton, NY 13625).
