It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Whitcomb (Colonie, New York), born in Schenectady, New York, who passed away on March 22, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Palen and Ruth Dykeman Palen; her husband Arnold K. Whitcomb (Sy); and her uncle Floyd Dykeman. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Morris (Jonathan), Arnold Whitcomb (Nancy) and Neal Whitcomb; her grandchildren, Danielle, Michael, Matthew Whitcomb, Robyn Torres (Karen), Sarah, Nathan, Rose, Jean, Andrew, Elisabeth Morris and Jocelyn Whitcomb; and her close friend John Pouch. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
