He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stephen Jakala and Loretta Jakala (Garbacz); his son Thomas Jakala of Cobleskill; his wife Clara Jakala (Littlejohn); his sister Diane Waldron of Greenport; and his children, Elaine Garner of Lee, NH, Maureen Peck of Rotterdam, NY, Michelle Cardell of Manning, SC, Stephen E. Jakala of Troy, NY and James Jakala of Riverton, UT. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
