With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Benedetto of Colonie, New York, born in Albany, New York, who passed away on May 10, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Brown and Helen Brown; and her husband John J. Benedetto. She is survived by: her sons, Curtis N. Benedetto (Diane Berdar) and Peter Benedetto (Lori); her grandchildren, Curtis Benedetto Jr. (Sarah Wilson), Holly Clancy (Michael), Peter Benedetto Jr. (Crystal), Nicholas Benedetto (Jessica), Kevin Benedetto (Shelby Connors) and Jaret Benedetto; and her great grandchildren, Avery, Adalynn, Conor, Jordan, John and Liam.

Face masks are required and social distancing will be observed. Funeral services will be private.
