It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond H. Metzger of Colonie, New York, born in Troy, New York, who passed away on October 2, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Metzger and Dorilda Snay Metzger; his wife Ann Hogan Metzger; his son Raymond Metzger; and his brother Joseph F. Metzger.

He is survived by: his sons, John Metzger (Ellen) of Warwick, NY, Joseph Metzger (Kathy) of Albany and Matthew Metzger (Joanne) of Gardiner, NY.; his sister Jane Kolakowski; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Quinn Neves.
