She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Orientale and Francis Orientale; her brother Eugene C. Orientale; her husband Thomas J. Burke; and her son Jeremiah P. Burke.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas J. Burke (Regina) and Francine Burke; her grandchildren, Thomas J. Burke III (Anna), Courtney Burke-Ramos (Mitchell), Jeremiah P. Burke III, Lindsay Burke, Ashley Varco, McKenzie Klopstock (Kyle) and Reilly Burnes (Ben); and her sisters, Rose Sommerschield and Irene DiPietra. She is also survived by 11 greatgrandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William J. Burke & Sons/Cunniff Funeral Home (628 N Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Clement's Church (231 Lake Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in the name of Marie Burke to the Alzheimer's Association.
