It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Murphy of Colonie, New York, born in Albany, New York, who passed away on December 26, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril J. and Eleanor Lehman Murphy Sr.; and his brother Cyril J. Murphy Jr. Jack. He is survived by: his brothers-in-law, Michael Meyl, Will Meyl and Brian Meyl; his wife Linda Jane Meyl; and his children, Erin, Shane, Emma, Jack and Dylan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid restrictions and the anticipated turn out, funeral services will be private at Cannon Funeral Home.
