It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hilda F. Griessel (Colonie, New York), who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard W. Griessel; and her parents, Henry Rabeler and Eunice Holm. She is survived by: her daughters, Darlene Chesnut (Mark) of Rotterdam, NY, Deborah Palmieri of Fairfield, CT and Denise Cavanaugh (Barry) of Herkimer, NY; her grandchildren, Owen, Lydia, Shaye, Emmett, Aidan and Augustine; her great grandchildren, Jack, Safita, Soren, Levi, Lucan and Esme; and her sister Dolores. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, NY 12205).
