He was predeceased by: his parents, Alois Betzwieser and Ottilie Ruf Betzwieser; his wife Mildred "Micki" M. Betzwieser; his brother-in-law James L. Beck (Theodore R. Beck); and his nephew Frederick W. Bauer IV.
He is survived by: his children, Richard (Yvette), Eric (Michele) and Tanya; his grandchildren, Tyler, Krista and Julius; his pet Daniel Ryan (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Olivia, Michael and Logan; his siblings, Eleonore, Beate Eates (Frank), Guenter and Hugo (Linda); his sister-in-law Evelyn Bauer (Fred); and his nieces and nephews, Alicia Mein, Stephanie Sanders (Andrew), Steve Betzwieser and Timothy Bauer.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, NY 12205). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Christ Our Light Catholic Church (1 Maria Dr, Albany, NY 12211).
