He was predeceased by: his grandson Nicholas Pondillo; his parents, Milton Barnhart and Edna Snyder Barnhart; and his sister Gloria Abbott (Robert). He is survived by: his wife Lindsay Smith Barnhart; his daughters, Janine Gerwitz (Phil) of Colonie and Stacy Burkhart (Chuck) of Speigletown; his grandson Joshua Barnhart; his great grandchild Grayson Nicholas Barnhart; his aunt Marylou; and his close friends, Robert and Barbara Paju.
