She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest G. Benway and Anna V. Benway (Murphy); her husband Donald; her children, Susan Van Buren, Stephen Kirtley, David Kirtley and Cynthia Kirtley; and her sister Lois A. Watt.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Marshall, Keith Kirtley, Lisa Hart (Tom), Mike Kirtley (Tracy), Cheryl Popson (Mike) and Shelly Mance (Mark); her brother John Benway (Patty); and her daughter-in-law Marchelle Kirtley. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 in Alice's memory.
