It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan L. Kratzke Sr. (Colonie, New York), who passed away on March 24, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alan L. Kratzke Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Kratzke and June W. Kratzke; and his siblings, Karen Sclafani (Gus) of Staten Island and William Kratzke of Schenectady, NY.. He is survived by: his wife Nanette Kratzke of Rotterdam Junction; his children, Alan Kratzke Jr. (Lisa) of Schenectady, NY and Laura VanDenburgh (Michael) of Rotterdam Junction, NY; his sister June Engel (Rob) of Manaplan; and his grandchildren, Kristina, Alaesia, Riley and Valencia. He is also survived by 8 nephews and nieces, and 15 great-nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, NY 12205). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
