He was predeceased by: his siblings, Rev. Harold Doty, Lillian Taylor, Shirley, Joseph Doty and Eileen Jensen; and his grandson David Fisher.
He is survived by: his wife Dawn Carner Doty; his children, Karen Campbell (Robert Jones) of Cohoes, Kimberly Dwyer (Keith) of Cohoes, William F. Doty, Jr. (Valarie) of Arizona, Scott Doty (Sandra) of Georgia, Katrina Panetta (Joseph) of Waterford, Jennifer Fisher (John) of Troy, Joseph Wilkinson (Lucretia) of Averill Park and Heath Doty of Troy; his sisters, Mary Abbott (late Charles) and Dorothy Taylor (William); his grandchildren, Christopher, Steven, Sarah, Brandon, Michael, Savannah, Skye, Joseph, Sabrina, Gabriella, Danny, Andrea, Austin, Kennedi, Mia, Jase and Hunter; and his great grandchildren, Adrian and Emma. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
