He was predeceased by : his parents, Daniel P. Whinnery and Florence Whinnery; his daughter Pamela A. DiNuzzo; and his grandson Zachary M. Duncan. He is survived by : his wife Rose M. Whinnery (Marino); his siblings, Keith Whinnery and Carolyn St. Gelais; his children, Priscilla Duncan and Warren D. (Nancy); his son-in-law Vincent D. DiNuzzo Jr.; and his grandson Christopher P. Boudreau.
