VanAlstyne (Cohoes, New York), born in Troy, New York, who passed away on April 27, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell E. VanAlstyne Sr. and Catherine VanAlstyne (Riley); and his wife Peggy. He is survived by: his daughter Lori Hickey (Bob Whiting); his close friend Eleanor Jones; his siblings, Dorothy Galarneau (William), Thomas VanAlstyne, Elaine Peterson (Jan), Ruth Neaton (Bill) and Marjorie Palm (Karl); and his grandchildren, Chad Hartshorn and Patty Whiting (Eric). He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
