He was predeceased by: his parents, George Guerin, Sr. and Ida Guerin (Bressette); and his siblings, George Guerin, Jr. (Betty) and Theresa Savaria (William). He is survived by: his children, Joyce Skroupa (Michael), Joseph Guerin (Sandra) and James Guerin (Betty-Ann); his grandchildren, Jason Guerin (Jessica), Taylor Ebert (Kyle), Victoria Huyck (Nicholas), Michael Skroupa (Meaghan), Jamie Tschinkel (James) and Mikayla Skroupa (Brian); his great grandchildren, Lucy Guerin and Giovanni Huyck; his siblings, Richard Guerin (Theresa) and Mary Lou Loiselle (Robert); and his caregivers, Rock, Daily and Nightly. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
