She was predeceased by: her husband Charles R. Whitney; her parents, Thomas Scott and Anna Scott (Tracey); her daughter Catherine McBride (Whitney); her foster son Daniel Bouchey; her sister Margaret Champine; and her close friend Barbara Whitney.
She is survived by: her children, Charles, Chuck, Deborah Simard (William) and Thomas "Buddy" Whitney; her brother Charles Scott; and her sisters-in-law, Tootie Monticup and Sally Whitney. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
