He was predeceased by: his sister Teresa Nelson (Ernestine Hines). He is survived by: his mother Catherine Nelson of Florida; his children, Latanya Nelson of Troy and Lynwood Nelson, Jr. of Troy; and his siblings, Ronald Nelson, Anthony Nelson, Jennie Paulk, Albert Paulk, Shawn Nelson and Dwayne Adams. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
