With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lillian Fernet of Cohoes, New York, who passed away on January 1, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Palin Giroux and Laurianna Peltier Giroux; her husband Joseph Fernet; her brother William J. Giroux II (late Barbara); her niece Catherine; and her nephew William Giroux.
She is survived by: her niece Stacy Hall (Robert) of Waterford; her great-niece Emily Fitch (Fred); and also, Amalia, Briella, Corinna and Delilah.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Dufresne Funeral Home, Inc. (216 Columbia St, Cohoes, NY 12047). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the St. Joseph's Cemetery (40 Middletown Rd, Waterford, NY 12188).
