He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph B. Sr and Veronica R. Stewart Rafter, Sr.; and his siblings, Kevin M. Rafter and Colleen R. Rafter. He is survived by: his siblings, Dawn M. Lennen and Shawn Rafter of Troy; his nieces and nephews, Kristine Fernandez (David), Jessica Rafter, Nathan Rafter, Ryan Lennen, Kathleen Lennen and Liam Lennen; his great-nieces and great-nephews, David Fernandez, Jr. (Rebecca), Andrew Fernandez and Devin Fernandez; and his cousin Joseph Fezza. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles.
