She was predeceased by: her parents, Yvonne Savoie Girard and Wilfred Girard; her siblings, Theresa Girard and Carl Girard; and her husband Earl Newell.
She is survived by: her close friend Max; her children, Danielle Newell-Emory and David Newell (Rene Brent) of Florida; her granddaughter Molly; and her friend Connie Weber of Green Island.
Masks are requested to be worn by all attendees.
Donations may be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society or Community Hospice in memory of Joanne Newell.
