It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jean McClellan (Cohoes, New York), born in Troy, New York, who passed away on August 18, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent George Albert; her spouses, Harvey E. Payette and Gerald V. McClellan; her sister-in-law John "Willard"; her half-brothers, Jurene Evertsen, Harold Evertsen and Henry Evertsen; her niece Marla Howell; her nephew Donald Evertsen; her grandson Jeffrey Warren Donnelly; her daughter Sharon Jean Jerome (Acosta); and also, George "Albert" Evertsen (Florence), Catherine "Irene" Hull (William), Margaret Roland (Raymond) and Charles White.
She is survived by: her parent Catherine Miller Evertsen (Wylie); her children, Gilbert Allen Payette, Harvey Edward Payette II and Lori Payette Belemjian (David) of Loudonville; her grandchild Jeanie Acosta; her sister-in-law Mary Evertsen; her great grandchildren, Stephanie Carroll (Josh Andino), Brett Steele, Austin Payette, Gabriell Marshall, Alexis Sargent and Karma Lynn Peno; and her great great grandchild Iyla Andino. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; and many, many friends.
In the spirit of giving, as Jean was so known for, the family asks that a contribution, in lieu of flowers, be made, in Jean's memory, to any cause or charity of their choosing.
