He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles J. Simpson and Estella McGuire Simpson; and his siblings, Jimmy Quintel, Jeanne St (Frank), Judy Kennedy (John) and Linda Etman Gentner.

He is survived by : his daughters, Jimene Wager (Don), Justine Simpson (Guy Cronin), Jessica Simpson (Troy Scheidecker) and Jillian Simpson-Lapham (Scott); his grandchildren, Cody, Sam, Jaren Wager, Miranda Cole, Elizabeth Gregoire-Betts (Joshua), Lonna, Nathan and Alicea Scheidecker; his great grandchildren, Skylar, Henry and Brantley; his siblings, Estella "Bunny" Simpson, Kathy Crandall, Sandie Simpson, Donna Simpson, Joan Simpson, Robert Simpson (Carol) and Keith Simpson; and his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth St. Pierre and Marguerita "Dollie" Forney (Reed). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
